Our Teaching Classes
Our lessons are all taken by A.S.A. qualified Teachers. All staff hold valid ISTC (Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches) insurance and before we employ them all staff are checked via the CRB system. We keep up to date with current teaching methods by attending teaching seminars and courses.
Our policy is to maintain small groups of children per teacher with helpers in the water for our beginner classes to give them and parents additional confidence.
As our philosophy is to concentrate on teaching correct stroke technique from an early age we don't feel that collecting badges is an important part of our teaching. However, we offer the option of taking badges to those children who wish to take them.
We follow the A.S.A. National Plan for Teaching stages 1-10.
We pride ourselves on quality teaching. We have a vast amount of knowledge and experience of teaching swimming and firmly believe in learning through fun in the beginners groups.
